Fri 4 October 2019

Gary Painter, Director of the USC Price Center for Social Innovation, and Chris Fox, Director of the Policy Evaluation and Research Unit at Manchester Metropolitan University, will share recent insights from their new paper, "Are Social Impact Bonds a Social Innovation or Do Social Impact Bonds spur Social Innovation?" This conversation builds upon findings from their 2018 book, Payment by Results and Social Impact Bonds: Outcome-based payment systems in the UK and US. This work continues to explore how new financial models can spur innovation within social service delivery, and ultimately help improve social outcomes.
